I purchased two of these. I think the packaging could be a little more stout. [...] However, nothing was missing or damaged. The photo does not really show how large these are. It is 14'9" tip to tip and the ends are 4'6" high. They bow in a bit with a 250# person but that is to be expected. It would be easier to assemble with 2 people but I was able to assemble them bothin 45 minutes total. We also purchased the Mayan Curved Spreader Bar Hammocks with these and together they look great in the backyard.A great look, very relaxing.

We returned the first hammock stand because the pins did not match the holes they were supposed to go into. The second hammock had a problem with the width of the tube. Because it was over-painted, it did not fit into the other tube. Also, the screws did not go all the way in and the whole hammock was wobbly. Thankfully we hadn't returned the other defective hammock and between the two sets we managed to assemble one. We had to go to the hardware store and add two circular pieces so that the screw would tighten, and still, it is loose and wobbly, so we will have to find another solution. Finally, both hammocks arrived in broken boxes and poorly packaged. It seems that they had been previously returned by other customers. All in all my husband and I have spent at least 4 hours trying to assemble these hammock stands. A complete let down.

This hammock was the easiest thing to set up. It slides together. No hardware was needed. Its very durable in my opinion. Very lightweight. Easy to move around the yard and I think it looks really nice. Its decorative in its own way and makes a statement.

The chains are short so the hammock hangs REALLY high if you're short. But, it's gorgeous, sturdy and practical.

We ordered the quilted hammock and arc stand on a Saturday evening and both were on my doorstep by Tuesday afternoon using just the basic delivery offered! To my relief, my husband easily assembled the stand and was lying in the hammock within 20 minutes. The arc style stand is quite striking and appears to be sturdy...some give/wiggle where the arched pipe attaches, but very secure. After looking extensively at both the wood stands and this steel model on many sites, I decided on Hayneedle's steel arc model because it accommodates more weight, you don't have to stain or treat it each year, it's lighter to move around the yard, and the price was fair and reasonable. I was careful to select a hammock size that wood fit this 14 foot arc length. This quilted hammock itself is soft and comfy. My husband, being an out-doors-man, slept in it all night under the stars!

I was missing the washers and could not put it together. They were unable to just send me washers so I had to return the entire thing.
