Easy to assemble, and set up. I mean, real easy. Ours has stood up to weather for 3 years, and going strong. Last week, we had a thunderstorm roll through, and lightning struck our nearby tree, dropping a very large branch onto the arbor. The only damage was that the connectors between the sections snapped in half. This, ultimately, saved the sections, themselves, from sustaining any damage. Absolutely, no bends. I would recommend this arbor to anyone.

The small metal bars that keep the main arch pieces together are made of very shoddy metal. These stays cracked a week after we bought the arch... we decided to move the arch from one position to another in the garden and nearly all of these metal bits snapped in half. I had to buy metal spanners from the hardware store to reassemble the arch and keep it from falling apart. The metal of the arch itself seems good, only the attachment pieces were a problem.

Comments about Austram Vintage 7.25-ft. Iron Arch Arbor:

When the box arrived it had been opened on both ends and re-taped. When the box was moved you could hear parts falling around inside. I didn't open the box and called your customer service line. The associate took care of the problem without a hassle and I WILL use you again. Good job.

Comments about Austram Vintage 7.25-ft. Iron Arch Arbor:

I have received this arch. I notice the arch look like it was rusty. This was not to much of an issue but will require us to paint over White. Overall i do like the frame work. Will purchase more & recommend.

    Customer Q & A

    4 Questions About This Product
Q: "How many pieces does this come in and how is it put together?"
A: It comes in approximately 9 pieces, and it is pretty easy to assemble. You should have two people when raising the arbor to its standing position when assembly is complete.
Q: "How are your metal/iron arbors anchored?"
    A:

This arbor in particular comes with four ground stakes that you would insert into the ground and set the arbor onto the stakes and you also might want to put an extra support on the legs to help prevent wind damage.

Q: "What is the internal width?"
A: This is designed to be a 5 ft walk through arbor.  The steel is about an inch, so the internal dimensions are going to be a little shy of 5 ft.
Q: "Is the arch solid or tubular steel?"
    A: 1 inch tubular steel.
