No scratches, screw holes lined up, everything in the pack. The second chair had a bad chip in the paint at the top of the 'fan' back of the chair where it is v noticable - will have to sand and repaint, and 2 of the screw holes did not line up requiring some additional tools and a little extra help. Overall, very pleased with design, especially the folding mechanism, very nice - but think there should be a bit more quality control. Therefore 4 stars instead of 5. Lastly, when dragged on the deck chairs left a white streak in the decking - leave paint marks.

The chairs are very comfortable I love the look of them and they were easy to assemble. But after leaving them out in the rain only one time the paint on the chairs are already cracking and the wood is splitting on some areas of the chair. I will have to repaint and put a sealant on the chairs and I've only had them a little over a month. If you purchase these chairs make sure you put coat of sealant them to preserve the look.

In my experience, it is rare to order something online that needs to be put together and have it arrive with all the screws and bolts included and complete and explicit directions. So I was really pleased to find the total package, directions that worked, and minimal amount of time to assemble two foldable adirondack chairs. They look great.
