Hanging my washing - clothes, towels and sheets - out on a line in the fresh air is an economical, energy-saving activity that makes good sense. Having this retractable clothes line attached to the wall of our house, and stretching it across our deck to a post on the other side, provides me with the best place to pin them up in the breeze. When everything is dry, it retracts easily and is out of sight until needed the next time. I have used this type of clothesline for way over 30 years. The replacement fits on the same bolts, so installation is a cinch. If you have a place for one of these, I highly recommend it.

I've had 2 of these. I love them except for the fact that the brackets that attach to an outside wall break at the drop of a sock and cannot be repaired.

Evidently I didnt look at the measurement, if it was shown. It's way too long and large. I will have to return and get another, smaller one.

Many years ago, I had the same unit. It worked fine for many, many years. I moved and once again needed a clothes line. I looked at the two models you offer. As the one I purchased was on sale, I thought I would try it. I mounted it on two posts and all is fine. We used it over the weekend and it works great! The winding-up of the cords when we put it away could be better. Other than that, it is perfect. I wonder if the more expensive unit is better in this one respect. Otherwise, again, it's perfect. A great value! Service was great, it came when promised and absolutely no problems or issues. I recommend it!
