All the hardware in this item is plastic with a shiny coat on it and it all seems so cheaply made. Silly me, what did I expect for [$]? I pulled the cord out of its housing to get a feel for how it would work before installing. It was hard to pull out and did not fully retract. After several cycles the cord was fraying so badly I decided not to install it. Fuzz from the cord was all over my clothing. What a waste.
