I bought this rocker as a gift for my daughter, who
is expecting her first child, but lives in a tiny
apartment with no real room for much more furniture.
Not only will she be able to rock my new grandbaby
in style, but she'll also be able to close and fold
the rocker when not in use! I'm sewing some rocker
pads for the rocker, although it is quite comfortable without any padding. A great buy - so
clever, so comfortable and so what i was looking
for!

We have been searching for a folding rocking chair to use in our camper so that I could nurse and rock my baby. I needed the arm rests to be just the right height and width apart so that my Boppy pillow would nestle perfectly, making nursing comfortable for both my baby and for me. I was excited to see that this rocking chair fit the bill! However, when I began rocking I discovered it was not a smooth rock! Instead it was violently bumpy so that it jarred my baby and made her stop nursing. Turning the rocker over I found that both of the "rockers" pieces were actually wavey on the bottom. Because we didn't want to spend the money to return the thing, my husband spent about an hour during tropical storm Debby sweating profusely in the garage while sanding them. Now the rocker works great and I love it, but I feel that when you spend [$] on a rocking chair it ought to work right out of the box. This is why I wouldn't recommend buying this rocker.

Just what we needed for the porch of the home we are renovating. It's been an "adventure" renewing my elderly parents' home after 50 years of neglect. After getting the front looking good, I wanted to be careful of what we put on the porch--nothing too expensive but going with the beach theme. These are perfect. Plus, we can just fold them up and put them in garage when we're not there or when a big storm comes through.

Ordered two of these chairs. Unpacked the first one, set it up, put it on the deck and it was PERFECT. Unpacked the second one, set it up and found a large crack in the seat base. I called the Customer Service number and spoke to a wonderful lady named Justine. Within five minutes my account had been credited for the damaged chair and a new one was ordered and on the way. The following day I received an email from Mark D, Customer Experience Specialist, checking in with me that everything had been taken care of. Now THAT is customer service. You should do business with these people, they truly "get it".

Thge chairs arrived just as promised and the boxes were not damamged at all. When we took them out of the box later that day we found that the wood on the top rail behind the neck was split on both sides of the piece of wood.It came from the factory this way and someone just forgot to examine it. If they had, they would have seen that the wood is split and cracked.I think it would be too much trouble to try and send it back for replacement, so I am going to try to take it off and repair it. If I had the top rail it sure would be easier. We do like the chairs.
