I have purchased several things from Hayneedle over the years, and they have always been good to work with.
The chair may have been great, but it arrived broken. The packaging was terrible and the chair did not survive the ride.
Hayneedle customer service was good to get out a replacement quickly, but it was broken even worse than the first one.
I did not have time for three strikes and you are out, and gave up after having to repackage and go through the hassle of arranging a return and shipping back two of them.
The quality of the chair looked good, but that does not help when it arrives splintered beyond repair and assembly.

The shipping was our only problem with this product. The first box we received was extremely beat up and our rocking chair was cracked and had to be sent back. The replacement rocking chair was not broken but one corner of the seat was dented and cracked. It was underneath the seat and very small, so we decided to keep it, as we had to put it together for the baby room. The instructions on how to build the rocking chair were not the best and could stand someone to review them and make changes, as they are not very obvious, and it took about two hours of assembly. However, the final product was beautiful!! The wood is just exquisite and beautifully hand crafted, and it really is so perfect in our baby room. It will be the perfect chair to rock our baby to sleep for years to come. It should accomodate our boppy pillow and baby perfectly. It really is a beautiful design and a gorgeous wood type. If the company could just contract with a different shipping company (they used Fed Ex) and redo their instructions; it would be a no brainer and a perfect buy for anyone.

Package of hardware (bolts, nuts, washers) was incomplete and some parts were defective (female threads on nuts malformed so bolts siezed up). Had to procure replacement hardware from other source to complete assembly. I emailed company re: this issue and got no response, other than this request for a review, which now makes my comments public.

chair is very nice but too small for me im a big guy. 6'3 275 so not made for big man need taller back for head rest. Seat could be alittle wider but i'll keep looking
