Comments about Winsome Groveland 5-Piece Dining Set - Antique Walnut:

Table went together quickly and easily, and looks decent..although there are quite a few imperfections in the finish. Things like lil flecks/globs of polyurethane that feels like a dried speck of food when you run your hand over it. That's not a big deal.

What is a big deal is how horrible the chairs are. There are holes in the legs where the spindles insert. First chair, these holes were drilled only a millimeter or two from the edge, which caused the hole to break through on the side of the leg. I figured I could just get that one part replaced, and continued assembly of the second chair. Next chair, fully assembled, wobbled horribly. I loosened the bolts/screws, put a bit of weight on it to maybe help it find it's balance, then retightened...same thing. Probably put this thing together 3 or 4 different times all together. Tightening the screws is what causes it to get out of whack, which, in my opinion means the holes are not to spec. So now I had 2 chairs from the first box that were both bad. I carefully opened the second box(containing chairs 3 and 4) and used the packaging materials to carefully package chairs 1 and 2 back up. Assembled chair 3...same as chair 2...TONS of wobble. Not even going to try to make this one work. Time to box it all back up.

The items were also completely covered in dust, and had woodchips floating around in the box...as if the product was breaking apart before it was ever assembled. See the attached pics...covered in dust.

Going to return the entire set. Don't buy this. My degree is in mechanical design. I have designed and built my own custom furniture before. I am, by no means, an expert craftsman or genius, but I am definitely capable of turning a frew bolts and following 2 pages of instructions. I am not the problem. Quality control is the problem.
