I love it -- it was delivered quickly, set up pretty easily. Less expensive than the cage I bought at a retail store, and comes with its own stand, and storage for food, etc. on the bottom shelf. My babies love sitting on the perch. The cage door is a great bridge for them too. Its just a wonderful and beautiful cage. I'm thrilled with it.

Comments about A and E Cage Co. Winston Playtop Bird Cage:

This cage is too small for many of the birds listed in the description, such as senegals, conures and greys. I'd recommend for cockatiels or smaller. It is also hard to clean. You can't remove the bottom grate without the rest of the cage collapsing, as it serves as the cage base. The plastic cage base that houses the grate and slide out tray is really hard to get clean without taking the whole thing apart. It has kind of a staircase shape which causes debris to get stuck in unreachable areas. If it were a plain square at least the debris would fall to the tray.

Comments about A and E Cage Co. Winston Playtop Bird Cage:

The cage is an attractive cage, and seems well built. However, it was obviously built by someone who doesn't have birds. The lack of horizontal bars on the sides make perch placement difficult. You are locked into putting them in awkward places for the dishes, because you can only put them on the limited horizontal cross pieces. Further, they only send you one perch for the cage, even when they say there are two. The second is really just a small perch for the playtop and can't be used in the cage. That, to me, makes this cage less than useful and less than comfortable for my bird.

Comments about A and E Cage Co. Winston Playtop Bird Cage:

After reading many online reviews. I decided to go with the Winston Playtop cage. All the reviews were correct in their positive reviews. It was easy to assemble. spacious, easy to move from room to room, if needed. AND, the bird loves it. I bought the flat top thinking that I would put a play gym on top but, she loves getting up there to play so, I really don't need the gym. The powder coating is excellent as we were told by a friend who powder coats! It's easy to clean. Everything justs wipes off. The response I received from the vendor was great. The grate was slightly bent and they immediately sent a replacement. [...]The only negative is the small door opening but everything else makes up for it. Would definitely recommend.
