We have been fighting this problem to stop the spuirrels from getting up to our bird feeders for a very long time and I have made simular shields to the best I could but none have ever worked like the one we just purchased from Hayneedle.
It took 5 minutes to install aroung a 4x4. It is installed only Three feet off the ground.
