Comments about Zeiss 8x56mm GA T Dialyt Binoculars:
I have had these binoculars for a while now, and recently i purchased a pair of Swarovski's. Just out of curiosity, I thought I'd compare the two. Well what can I say, the Zeiss managed to hold its ground against a modern "current design" Swarovski, and it actually exceed in some areas. For example, the color rendition of the Zeiss are so good they are the most natural looking binocular I have used. Resolution is brilliant and the brightness at dusk and dawn is second to none. I will still keep the Swarovski's , but the Zeiss are a lifelong friend. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

20-years of satisfaction:
I lived in Germany, used the binoculars for hunting and wildlife observations, often at night during and around full moon and these binoculars give a sharp high contrast image. Now I am livening in the US and still enjoying the high quality of workmanship and sharp high contrast image using the binoculars mostly to observe the night sky.

Comments about Zeiss 8x56mm GA T Dialyt Binoculars:
These binoculars are excellent, both in workmanship and clarity. They are best used in twilight or in minimum light conditions, but they are just as good under normal conditions. The sharpness of the lenses, the robust construction make these binoculars a true classic that should last a lifetime if properly cared for. While some may consider them to be heavy and somewhat cumbersome, their size and weight actually help in overall stability.
Comments about Zeiss 8x56mm GA T Dialyt Binoculars:
I have owned a Zeiss 8x56 binocular since 1977. It is the best binocular I have ever looked through. The low light and night time light gathering qualities are great. Who needs a night vision binocular when you can own this one. I did not know about the attachment to make it a spotting scope. The best of the best to come.
