We could not have dreamed up a better bundle at such an amazing price. The Zhumell Z10 is already become a classic for excellent dobsonian telescopes. This bundle comes with all the standard accessories as the Z10 includes everyday, such as the Primary Mirror Cooling Fan, Laser Collimator, 2-Inch 30mm Eyepiece, 1.25 inch 9mm Eyepiece, 8x50 RA Finderscope, Dual-Speed Focuser and more. But we have taken it a step further. We took it a step further... drum roll please....
First we insisted on including our new Z100 16mm eyepiece. Now you can experience 100 Degree Apparent Field of View for that "space-walk" feeling. Its 2-Inch format is perfect for use with the Z10 telescope.
Next we added some highly useful filters. Sticking with 2-Inch format, we included the High Performance Moon and Sky-Glow Filter for space exploration in urban settings. This filter makes viewing objects in light polluted areas much better. We also included a Variable Polarizing Telescope Filter, excellent for lunar observations with such a large aperture telescope like the Z10.
Finally, we just had to include a TELRAD finderscope. Even though your Z10 includes an 8x50 RA Finderscope, so many customers tell us the TELRAD Finder is a fantastic compliment and is listed on their "must-have" accessory list. So we included it.

This is a great telescope at a great price. It was delivered very well packaged and the online video made it very easy to assemble the mount. The bundle contains everything you need except some AA batteries. I used this scope for the first time last night and was blown away by the views. I would highly recommend it. I think the OTA is about 30 lbs though so bear that in mind before ordering! I need help opening doors when I take this outside so it isn't as convenient as something like a Celestron NexStar but it is worth the inconvenience to get the amazing views!

Gift for grandson. Large enough but easy for a novice to use. Gives great views so not to put a youngster off astronomy like cheap refractors do.

Vacillated between 4 and 5 stars. Telescope gets five stars, and the accompanying package is certainly a great value for what you get. However, as someone new to astronomy, I would recommend a different package that emphasized more filters and a barlow for +$200 over the purchase price of the telescope alone. I haven't used the Telrad yet, but seem to be able to point the scope in the right general direction without another large object affecting the weight balance of the telescope. The 16mm eyepiece is nice, but a barlow would have gotten 15mm and 4.5mm for a quarter of the price, which would have left room in the budget for the Zhumell SEE IT ALL filter set. And the book, though nice, is a 15-year old toss in for the kiddies.
In short, if you're a newb and looking to spend about $700 on your first telescope w/ accessories, consider either buying the Z10 with the see-it-all filter kit, a 2-inch barlow, and a color filter set, or go for the Z12.

This is my first telescope and I must say WOW! The first night I took this out the moon was waxing to full so I got an amazing glimpse of it and all its glory. The next night I saw Jupiter and four of its moons....with impressive clarity, I thought I was looking in a book.
The Z100 is my favorite eyepiece...I can literally look through it all night with no discomfort. The filters make the experience all the more better, as I live in a heavily light polluted area.
This package should realistically cost a whole lot more, but I am happy telescopes.com saw to price it to go.
I will be purchasing an O-III and UHC filter and a 5mm eyepiece to see what this thing can really do.

Can't complain to much about the scope and accessories except for the facts that with a Telrad attached to the scope it is out of balance and the torque handles on the sides will not tighten down enough to stop the end from dropping. I am going to have to work on repositioning the scope with the mount so I can get the center of gravity lower to accomodate the weight of the Telrad. The book that comes with it is okay for a 12 year old. The finder scope is fine but was very difficult to focus, I am still not sure how I got it into focus. I have 50 years of experience focusing binoculars, monoculars and small scopes but in this case I was stumped on how to get it to focus. I just kept pushing, pulling, turning and screwing things in and out until it suddenly went into focue - the online instructions for this action are worthless.
It is large but not that heavy. I am over 60 years old and can move it around with ease. If I can get the scope balanced in the mount it should be fairly easy to keep on target.
