I am a Marine Infantryman and I was looking for something cheap but reliable for general use and a bit of astronomy/stargazing when I'm not using my telescope. I also wanted the option of taking this on deployment if I needed to and not worry about them because of the cheap price. It's not as unstable as other people described them to be...as long as you have somewhat steady hands--I dont know why people complained about how they can't focus it at 30X...it's no problem if you know what you're doing, unless of course, they came broken or defected. I love these binoculars and take them everywhere. They're very versatile and have just the right amount of zoom. They are bigger than I imagined but it's not too bad, they are full sized binoculars afterall... I haven't yet exposed these things to the elements---being a Marine I tend to get myself and my gear extremely dirty so I have no idea how they'll hold up in the field or on deployments (but that's okay cuz they're dirt cheap!) The only problem I've had with them is that the lens fogged up on an unusually cold night (don't know if it's from my breath or from the cold air itself) but yeah, great binos for the price...

These binoculars arrived out of collimation and useless from the beginning. I will say that I had not problem with receiving a credit. Customer service was great!

Powerful zooming 10x to 30x magnification! The 60mm opening gives a Bright viewable area. If using the upper 30x magnification, may want a tripod or monopod for a steady image. The binoculars are already equipped with tripod connection, may need an "L" adaptor (found in the binoc accessories dept)for most tripods.
