Getting the hooks in the right setting and setup is easy. I have mine on the second and third loop, if you put it to the highest setting it can be a bit high and balancing can be difficult. The ties did need a little sewing but it was because i put the blanket wrapping around the wood bar, if you place it 4 to 5 inches from the wood bar it wont stretch the blanket too much. This is very nice for the price. Im on it right now, using a tablet. Relaxation is great. Havent had it for a long time but if it does wear and tear, i wouldnt mind buying another. My 10 year old and 2 year old nephew enjoy getting on with me, we have fun. I really dont have any cons other than wishing it could hold more weight, but for a budget starter this is great. Complete set very cool. Once you get the hang of it, it gets better. I fell twice when i got it. So be careful, and just give it another try.

My husband had been saying that he wanted a hammock for a while so I ordered this inexpensive version to see how much it would be used before I dropped any serious money on one. I assumed that with the low price point I wouldn't be getting the greatest quality product. Again, it was more to guage usage. The hammock itself is of marginally decent quality. There is a 200-some-odd-lb weight limit on it but, unless we set it to the highest tension, I was about 2 inches from the ground. I weigh 105lbs so I think that limit is a tad exaggerated. I'm sure we'll be buying a different one within a month or two. On the plus side, the pillow and pad that come with it are nice.

I bought this for an anniversary present for my husband. I love it. When he put it together I was surprised that it looked exactly like the picture. I dont usually trust buying things online. I shopped around every where and could not find a better deal anywhere. It was easy to put together and take down. It did seem larger than Iexpected but really was the perfect size. My husband loves it as well but teases me that I really bought it for myself. I acctually joked that we should get rid of our bed and set it up in our bedroom. Great product, I am hopeful that it last a long time. If not I will buy another one.

I'm 5'9 and 200 lb. Yesterday I took a 2 hour nap in this hammock and slept like a baby even without the pad. With my body shape it took me a couple of times to learn how to load and unload without humiliation, but now its easy.
