This filter is DA BOMB! I think everyone should have this in their EP case. I think there is a typo on the product description (35-40%) It's more like 3.5%-40%
It can be used to just take the edge off the brighness of objects, or you can crank it up for really bright objects like Venus. I never really got a good look at venus until receiving this filter. Spend the little bit of extra dough to get this filter instead of the "non-variable" filters. You will be pleased.
