Bright and clear view. Smooth center focus. I like the feature where the rear covers stay attached to the binoculars. I also like the twist-out eye relief spacers. The front cover could use a better design. The only real dislike I have is that the eye-balance, focus wheel is very stiff.

These binocular is superb. Sharp, crisp and clear images, feels robust and heavy (which is what I prefer). Very easy to focus with just about the right tightness. I found I don't need to manipulate too much the right diopter, as it's just bang on target. Only downside I noticed is that there seems to be a slight color washout/aberration in the color rendition at the extreme edges of the object being viewed, in strong light...and the one I got was not made in Japan; it's China.
Overall, this binos are a keeper.
