its an attractive stool...average in the comfort department...the seat is of cheap faux leather material. (tears easily). swivels nicely and is a good height for your average bar height.

My husband had slight difficulty aligning the screw holes when assembling. I didnt find a color description of the seat when I ordered, they are a very dark blackish brown color and look fine with my black leather dinning chairs that are near by. They are certainly beautiful and look much more expensive than they were! I'm considering buying a third one for my kitchen bar area. I shopped around for the lowest price and wasnt able to find one. I ordered on a Sunday and they were delivered (for free) on Tuesday morning! I most certainly recommend purchasing these!
