I absolutely love these toy bins. The cost is signifigantly lower then toys bins from high end children's furniture stores. These are classy looking and seem very sturdy. My only complaint would be that the back panel doesn't have predrilled holes and without a drill I would not have been able to finish putting these together. ...this complaint would NOT stop me from buying more of these products. When my daughter is older I anticipate adding to her room and I will not hesitate to get the bookshelves.

I ordered the espresso shelving unit and a bin unit for my son's playroom. They are an attractive set, and perfectly match a child's table and chairs that I also purchased here. I had no problems with the bin unit -- it came with all the pieces and it was easy to assemble. The shelving unit was another matter. The manufacturer did not include the back panel in the box, which of course required time-consuming back and forth with Hayneedle for a refund. I thought about getting a replacement, but was so annoyed with the fabrication problems (which I've experienced with two other furniture pieces I've ordered here) that I decided not to bother. Pretty easy to assemble. They stack easily and can be rearranged. The toy bin design is pretty unique, I haven't found anything else like them. Great for throwing toys into the bins for quick cleanup!

We bought this for toy storage and it works great! I looked a similar pottery barn models that were more expensive and chose this product instead. I just got home from a friends house who owns the pb storage and ours is just as nice, if not better. Thinking about ordering a couple more pieces since you can stack them three high. Free, shipping, speedy delivery, I am now recommending hay needle to all my friends! Awesome site!

We ordered four of these pieces in the espresso finish to stack two by two. Assembly was fairly easy, although much easier with two people than one only because at times you need one person to lift a piece while the other lines up screws and cam locks. One of our pieces was mildly dinged in packing but we chose not to even call about it, since it will be used in a six year old's room and we're sure he will use and abuse it even more. The pieces stack very nicely. The blackboard cupboard piece was a nice surprise in that it was reversible (one side blackboard and one matching the furniture finish.) All in all a good investment for the price. Have concerns about them holding up to a beating, but only time will tell on that note.

Been searching a LOOOONG time for a storage cubby that would not only match the furniture in my kids' room but also their needs. And this fits the bill, exactly. I looked at sooo many places (online and off) and they were either too expensive or filmsy or the cubbies were just too small to store books upright or too shallow, or they were in a wrong color! I almost gave up and I am sooo glad I found this! This is sturdy enough and I love that they have it in the pecan color which would match furniture that this is in a medium wood color but yet does not have the cherry tinge to it.
