Description
Keep the fire burning inside - inside the Nantucket Copper Painted Chiminea, that is. This gorgeous copper-finished steel chiminea keeps the sparks from flying while keeping youyou’re your guests amply warmed. The wide 22.75-inch steel firebowl sits mounted on four scrolling black legs and features intricate copper-colored detailing around the rim. There is a steel wire mesh guard all the way around the fireplace, with one side featuring a latched gate for fire-tending access. The chiminea is roofed by a copper-finished dome roof with ventilation.

We just got this unit in a few days ago, and I put it together by myself, even though it is recommended that 2 people participate. Upon finishing, this items looks very attractive. The bowl where the wood will burn from seems a little thin, but, having not burned anything yet, we will see if that becomes an issue. Will use this next weekend for the first time, weather permitting. Will be interesting to see how weather affects it over time. Overall, I think this is going to be an enjoyable product for our family.

I bought this fireplace just to enjoy a few small fires in my backyard. Although I must admit that the copper finish is impressive, and the unit is quite size able, putting it together proved difficult. When I first saw the supporting legs I thought, wow .. Great quality ... Thick and heavy .. This is going to be great. That was until I got the wire mesh parts out of the box. Not only were they flimsy to the touch, it seemed that many of the holes would not line up (and yes, I did it correctly). The top part, the large copper part in particular, did not line up at all. I still have yet to use it. I may have more complaints after a few fires, if I ever get it together completely. It looks great on the website, but it's of very poor overall quality. Avoid this one folks. Although I was very happy with hayneedle ! Very fast shipping
