I was so happy to see Flexible Flyers available again. A few years ago when I bought sleds they were off the market. We still got good sleds (American Eagles), but there's just something about the Flyer. It's a little heavier than our other sleds due to thicker wood, but it also seems very durable and runs great even on a gentle slope.
For anyone looking for a steel runner sled, this is one of the best. To keep it going good and fast, make sure to keep some steel wool on hand to get the rust off the runners. Otherwise it'll just sit on the hill.
