I love the overall tray with this one exception, the varnish on the top is horrible and whom ever is responsible for the part of the finishing has no pride in their work. I love the tables but will need to paint over them for future use with friends and family. Honestly it would be better if you were to buy the light colored wood tables so you don't have this issue. I have not only white marks which look as if they are water marks but large streaks of black...for what reason I haven't a clue. I would recommend to others only if they see a statement made that the varnishing issue has been resolved by this manufacturer.

My Husband and I eat all our meals on TV trays. This brand we don't like. When you go to pick it up it automaticlly folds up. That's bad when you have a plate with food on it and all you want to do is move it towards you. So.. you have to grasp the underside and hold steady before moving it. Give me back the metal ones. They were very dependable and you could also put both your feet under it without having to go over the piece of wood.

We are so happy with these trays -- they look great in the living room, and are so much more sturdy than our previous trays. They are also larger and heavier than the others we were using. When these table arrived, they were so much better that we just threw out the old ones. The service with this company was fantastic, too. No shipping charges, and they arrived less than a week after ordering. Thanks!

I did like the look and feel of the trays but was not happy at all to find that I could not move the tray without holding on for dear life in fear of losing my food. There is no latch what-so-ever to click these into place so if you lift the tray, the bottom just collapses.

wish they had a better protective finish like urethane or varnish. I'm a little afraid they'll take a beating since the wood is unprotected.AND one of the trays has a good sized knot in the wood right on the face of the tray - looks like a dark stain from a distance.
Otherwise- pretty good quality, arrived in good condition and arrived much quicker than I expected.
