Comments about Zeiss 5X10 T MiniQuick Monocular:
This a great little piece of engineering. Very light and great to have on the fly. Though it is meant to be carried in a shirt picket, it really should come with a case. Other than that, I love it.

Comments about Zeiss 5X10 T MiniQuick Monocular:
This is a wonderful item. My first pair of "quality" binoculars was a Zeiss 10x25, about 40 years ago. The design, weight, and optics were great, and still are, and that is true of the Miniquick as well.
This is so light one might think it was a toy, but the optics are first-rate. The feel is good, and the focus smooth. Of course 5x10 is going to have limitations based on the low power and small diameter lens, but these are partially overcome by the quality optics. I can pick out detail as well as or better than lower quality 8 power binoculars. Also, the light-gathering is better than I'd expected, again because of the optics. This is very usable in dusk situations.
You're not going to get the details of good quality higher power binoculars, but the size and weight means you can have this with you at all times--a big plus for me. The pen clip makes sense to me, and appears strong. It comes from a ring that goes all the way around the barrel. I haven't used it though. I put the Miniquick in a rigid glasses case made for those small reading glasses, if I'm going to stuff it in my pants pocket. For me, it's a good idea to attach one of those small wrist straps (by looping around the clip) so it's less likely to slip out of the hand.
In sum, buy from a dealer where you can return it, but plan on being pleasantly surprised.

Comments about Zeiss 5X10 T MiniQuick Monocular:
I bought this for my husband who seems to lose anything he sets down. If he doesn't have a pocket he can clip this to his neckline so it has been great. I notice he really uses it as it is not cumbersome.

Comments about Zeiss 5X10 T MiniQuick Monocular:
You will never be without a scope as you can carry this one in your pocket, briefcase, tackle bag, etc. The optics on this little scope are fantastic. You don't give up much with this product. The size is small with a big view.
