Comments about Barska Excavator Riflescopes:
I put this scope on a Savage .308 bolt action with a bull barrel and its a great fit. Easy to focus and the IR is great especially on the lower settings. Would definatly recommend this scope for rifles capable of long range shots.

Comments about Barska Excavator Riflescopes:
This is a cool scope. The infared reticle is nice to impress people. The only problem I have is it is dangerous. I can bench press 300 lbs but sometimes this scope comes back and bites me in the nose with my 30-06 even when I hold it tight in my shoulder.

Comments about Barska Excavator Riflescopes:
This was a "for now" scope on a 1000 yard tactical rifle I am building based on a Rem 700 SA. For [$](the plan was) I can use this until the project is done and mount a Schmidt & Bender or even a Leupold MK4. At maximum magnification (32x) the image is a bit hazy, but hey it's a [$]optic and not a $1500 Swarovski! At lesser magnification it is much crisper, but I can still see 1000yard targets at full power. The reticle is a combination mil-plex with a "range finding graph". I would have given this 5 stars if not for the fact that it did not come with directions on how to use the reticle[...]. Mathematically, the hash marks on the retical are 1MIL apart at 10x and the lines on the graph are 2.5MIL apart vertically. No clue about horizontally as they taper. The reticle comes with a rheostat that allows you to change the intensity of the illuminated reticle. I've shot over 200 rounds and it has stayed true thus far. I am using the rings it came with and warne bases. This also comes with a sunshade and flip up covers. The relief cover moves a bit too much and I will likely replace it with a butlercreek. The sunshade is a bit thinner than the optic so I used electrical tape to keep it secure (thicken the end). To be honest, this optic for the money is well worth it. I may even keep it a bit longer than anticipated.

Comments about Barska Excavator Riflescopes:
I placed this scope on a Ruger 77 Mark II .338 Win Mag and it has held up to the punishment. The amount of light it gathers is outstanding. The scope also includes a 3 inch sunshade tube. Buy it.

Comments about Barska Excavator Riflescopes:
product is excellent quality, and as advertised.
Only negative is the fact that, ad description did not mention scope comes with rings!!
I went and ordered Tasco 1" rings for scope, and received them along with my scope order, so now I ended up with an extra set of rings. Did not return obviously because its more expense to return now.
