I purchased the globe for a graduation gift. It is beautiful, however, it was not properly assembled. The stand was hardly holding the globe. I did not call to complain because time was of the essence. I needed to get it to the engraver. Luckily my husband was able to remove the felt bottom, add some lock-tight to the assembly and tighten everything up. I felt that for [$] it would be a great product. Other than the assembly issue we are satisfied.I would recommend this product and company with caution.

Very pretty from a distance. I bought it as a gift for my wife and she is a map buff. I did not let her see it, I closed the box and sent it back as soon as I saw it. Continents and countries were not accurately depicted and there was very little identification of what you were looking at, as far as labeling. If you are just looking for something well built and attractive, this may be for you. If you are looking for something to use as a reference, stay away, very disappointed, and to top it off they charged $9.50 to return it.
