This was a gift for my Daughters birthday. I received the globe the day before, which was great. The only bad thing about the whole purchase, was how they package it! Opened the box to see it was just thrown in the foam packaging, that didn't look good. The foam packaging, I thought shold have been tapped and secured better. Took the Globe out for inspection and it had a 4-5inch crack in the glass. I called customer service and they are sending me out a new Globe and hopefully will have better packaging also. Explained what happened to my daughter and she is ok with it. She loved the globe
