Built by the European company Airbus, the A320 family of aircraft is marked as the second best-selling jet airliner family of all time. With nearly 4,000 examples produced, only the Boeing 373 family of aircraft has more jet airliner examples than the A320 group. The A320 is also a groundbreaking aircraft for its pioneering use of fly-by-wire control systems, being one of the first commercial aircraft to use such systems.
