This adapter works perfectly with the Vixen SXD / Star Book Combination. Plug it into the wall, and the mount, and everything works. It allows for international voltages as well, so no problem using it in the US, Europe, or where I live in Chile. I anticipate no problems powering the mount from 120V adapter plugged into my car, but I haven't tried that yet.
