The table top, leaf and marble insert were very high quality. Everything else was very poor quality. Many pre-drilled holes were incorrectly placed. Some pre-drilled holes were off by half an inch! We ordered replacement parts and they were still not drilled correctly. So, it must have been the drilled holes in the main unit were not drilled in the right places. The main unit wood was of such poor quality that two screws pulled out during installation. Some of the fasteners got mixed together during the shipment. The covers that go over the fasteners fit so loosely that they fall out! On a good note, the items were all labeled well, and the instructions were easy to follow. I had no trouble getting the replacement parts that I needed. [...]I recommend shopping locally and maybe even finding a unit already assembled. If you purchase online make sure the holes are NOT pre-drilled.

I was very picky about what i wanted in an island for my kitchen and this was perfect! There are lots of pieces and it takes patience to put together but it's so worth it!! We love it and it makes our kitchen look 100 times better!

Lots of parts to assemble BUT so worth the effort. My sister (77 yrs old) and I did the assembly and really appreciate the ease of following schematic drawings that were provided. The finished product is a beautiful addition to my kitchen and the extra work space and storage is a plus.

We bought that unit a year ago. When it's together it makes the most beautiful kitchen island ever. You have to be andy yes. But it's a nice reward when it's done. Everybody makes comments about that unit. The only negative thing is that the drop leaf would need more support under it. If you lean to much on it, it just gives up after a while. We had to put something more sturdy in order to stop the problem. Over all it's just perfect.
