It's a very pretty well made jewelry box and I like it but am disappointed in how dark the wood is. So dark that you really can't see the nice handpainted flowers that made the box so attractive to me. The light wood shown in the picture would have gone nicer in my room and you can see the floral design, which is one of the reasons I purchased it. Since you can't see the design buy it because of the size, not the attractive hand painting you see in the sale photo
