I have purchased many children's coat racks. They have all been flimsy. Hardware was never long or sturdy enough. I thought I may start my own children's coat rack company because there just wasn't anything out there of good quality. Then I bought this one. It is THE PERFECT family coat rack. Kids of all ages and adults can hang up to 8 coats. It is sturdy and very simple to put together. Very worth the money!I am thrilled!

Sturdy, minimalistic & kid-practical are the qualities I was looking for when trying to solve the issue of what to do with coats in our 1928-no-proper-entryway-or-coat-closet house. The biggest draw of this particular coat stand is the lower hooks that our kids can reach. Another bonus was that it was super quick & easy to put together! I like the coat stand better in my living room than I do in the photo here; the knobs look less obtrusive in real life. I wish the silver-color had been available, but the black is ok & I didn't want to wait 4-6 weeks.
