Could have been about an inch or two taller at bar ht. The piston lowers an inch or two when you sit on it. a little wobbly when full ht. Very sturdy at counter ht.
Wish it would rotate to center position when you get up.
Overall it is pretty cool.

Very modern AND comfortable... often a hard combination to find! After a stressful kitchen remodel it was nice to have friends over for martinis and see that they actually enjoyed sitting in them as well as looking at them. [...]at least I didn't have to deal with putting them together properly! Kids love them, too. So far, all spills have just wiped away (we purchased the white ones!)
