The American Drew Camden Drop-Lid Secretary Desk in Black combines traditional style with modern functionality. This charming desk features a cabinet door that drops down to provide you a spacious and sturdy work surface. The desk's compact design lets you maximize your floor space. Left side features include two drawers and a divided compartment. The center has an adjustable shelf, power bar, and wire management openings. The right side contains a divided compartment, four drawers, two doors that open to removable shelves, wire management, and file storage in bottom center drawer. Extremely durable, this secretary desk is crafted from poplar solids, maple, ash veneers and select hardwoods. The Time-Worn Black finish and brushed-nickel hardware coordinate well with any room decor.

It is perfect for my little computer room. And all the little office stuff can be hideaway when the desk top portion is closed.
Surprisingly it has enough spaces for my paper works and some office tools and such.
I love it. One minor hassle, it came in without the foot (4 of them) assembled. I am using it without them for now but still good enough for me.

We moved into a home that did not have an office so we needed something that would look good in our bedroom but serve the purpose of a desk & storage. It looks great and is very functional. It is a quality piece of furniture. The fact that the shipping was free and came fully assembled was a definite perk! The outlets that are within the desk are difficult to use, have to use a lot of pressure to plug anything in. Other than that, we are very satisfied.

The file drawer was not large enough to fit even a standard 8.5 x 11 inch piece of paper, much less a folder or a file folder. The space inside the two side cabinets is very small. There is a sliding shelf that separates the compartment. I was going to put a very small printer there, but that wouldn't fit. It is a very nice piece of furniture. Very beautifu and sturdy, but too small for my needs.
I am returning it and so far it seems like it won't be a hassle, they are paying the shipping. The shipper is supposed to bring me a box and come take it back. I still haven't heard back from them yet, but it's only been a couple days, so we will see how it goes.

Desk is exactly what I was hoping, great quality and very functional. However the desk weighs 200lbs and delivery only covers dropping it at the curb. I was able to get it brought to the back door, but if I didn't live on the bottom floor it would have been a problem. Especially considering there was only one delivery person who would not have been able to bring it up the stairs even if he wanted to.

I wanted a well built desk to store my computer and printer. I wanted one that I could close and all the clutter would be out of site. I needed a desk with lots of storage in a small amount of space. I found it! Lots of drawers. solid wood, very sturdy! I love it!
