Strong and durable, this secretary desk is crafted from poplar solids, maple, ash veneers, and select hardwoods. The Time-Worn Cream finish and brushed-nickel hardware add a touch of warmth and elegance. It has a drop-down cabinet door that opens to reveal a spacious work surface and an array of cubbies, shelves, and drawers. Left side features include two drawers and a divided compartment. The center has an adjustable shelf, power bar, and wire management openings. The right side contains a divided compartment, four drawers, two doors that open to removable shelves, wire management, and file storage in bottom center drawer.

We love this desk! Smart looking, fits perfect in a 10x13 bedroom, with a daybed and dresser! Quality is TOP NOTCH! Excellent storage options. The side doors open to smooth sliding shelves, But, a printer doesn't fit inside. Not sure what we can put in the side to benefit from this great feature. The smart technology (power strip) installed is a great feature. However, we are waiting for a replacement - the power strip has something inside preventing the plug to go in. Hayneedle's customer service immediately committed to fixing the problem, but dropped the ball and left NO notes in the system for the next customer service who took my call. However, they immediately contacted the manufacturer and apparently a new power strip is on the way, and we will have to remove the old, install the new.

This desk has a lot of storage and it looks very cute in my office. I thought the color would be more of a cream tone but it has grey hues which is still pretty. I am happy with my purchase!
