I just put this cabinet together about 2 hours ago and I have to say its not the greatest piece of furniture..Of course, it is engineered wood. I knew this and won't ever buy the stuff again. There were a few holes not drilled exactly where they should be for a flush installation, and that made 2 of the doors hang crooked. Nothing I can do, the screws are now stripped. And it doesn't sit flat so it rocks a little. Luckily, I don't plan to move it anytime soon. But the cabinet itself is nice, seems to be sturdy, and it will hide my bathroom stuff like I need it to. If you buy it, just don't get in a hurry like I was and make sure the pre drilled holes are where they need to be before putting it all together and calling it done. I'm just not pleased with the way the bottom door sticks due to hanging crooked..but it'll do. ;O)

I had read other reviews about this product and many complained that there was some defect in the cabinet. I ordered it anyhow thinking that by now you would have remedied the problem. However, when it arrived, my husband waited a couple of days to start putting it together. Sure enough, one of the panels was cracked. However, the good news is that although the customer service person said that it would take between 7 - 14 days to get a replacement piece, it was here in less than one week. We are happy because now we can have it put together before Christmas.

Color of handles were black and not in cherry like the picture. The door catches were missing so right now the doors are not secure and closeable.

Bought two of these to use in our basement as pantry space since our kitchen doesn't have a built in pantry. I'm glad they were for the basement! If they had been for the main floor of the house, I would have returned them. Several chips, nicks, and marred spots on the finish. Some of the pre-drilled holes were misaligned. This was most notable on the doors, which are crooked on one unit, and have a large gap at the top on the other. They will serve their purpose as food storage, but I would not buy these if you are looking for an attractive piece of furniture suitable for your kitchen. Disappointed in the craftsmanship and poor packaging/lack of protection. I knew these would be made of pressboard, and that I wasn't getting solid wood for the price. I guess I don't view that as an excuse for sloppy manufacturing and quality control. And, for the record, I view this as an issue with the manufacturer, not Hayneedle. I am thrilled with the service I received from Hayneedle.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was prompt. I wouldn't say they arrived in good condition, as there were several marks and marred or chipped spots, but I don't know if that was the result of shipping. Some of the marks were on pieces that were in the middle of the package and could only have been caused at the factory.
