An area in the center of the stand offers three shelves - two are adjustable - for more storage or for displaying books and other items. This item looks good however..-one of the metal cabinet handles was missing from the box-[...]-the cabinet doors had cheap cardboard accents that were glued on. the glue did not hold and i had to re-glue them with gorilla glue.I expected a little more for [$] and it ended up being a headache, It looks good but i wish the company put more effort into making the product a quality product.

Stand was easy to assemble. It took my wife and I about an hour to put it together. No problems. Looks good and is very sturdy. I have a 55 gallon aquarium on it and no problems so far.
