Description
Perfect for any home or professional office, the Ameriwood Desk and Hutch in Cherry offers lots of storage and workspace so you can get the job done. Constructed of engineered wood and laminates, this desk is durable with a desktop capable of handling heavy use. A pull-out keyboard tray saves space and adds comfort. To the left are an open storage space and a file drawer capable of letter sized hanging files. A large cabinet on the right offers an excellent source of additional storage. The included hutch has four open, easily accessible storage compartments, most of which are adjustable. A center rack holds 45 CD cases. Some assembly is required with the use of common household tools.

I love this desk. My first one lasted over 7 years, and made it through one entire move. But didn't make it through the second move. It's very heavy and difficult to move even if you remove the hutch.
Pick a spot and assemble it there and let it be, and it will last you a very long time. My favorite parts of this desk are the computer storage cabinet really quiets a noisy PC, and the top of the hutch easily can handle the weight of a 30" LCD TV and Sat/Cable box.

I use the desk for homework purposes. I like it a lot because it has a lot of open spaces to put things, which is great because I can store textbooks, and references right at my desk. Only trouble was a few of the plastic pegs broke when I was assembling it, but it didn't seem to need them. If you want a nice desk with lots of storage space, this is a good pick.
