Baby monitor with parent unit
Description
The Angelcare Movement Monitor is a great addition to your existing sound-monitoring system, or can be used in conjunction with a Sound and Movement Monitor, giving you the ability to monitor more than one baby. We do not recommend using this monitor only, unless you live in a very small space or your baby sleeps in the same room you do. We recommend that use is combined with a monitor that detects sound.
Movement monitoring is thorough and simple with this unit, which consists of a high quality Sensor Pad that fits under the mattress and is designed to detect movements with great sensitivity. If no movement is detected for 20 seconds, an alarm is sounded on the included parent unit. Track your baby and give yourself peace of mind. The parent unit operates on two AA batteries.

Comments about Angelcare Movement Baby Monitor - AC300:
It detects breathing even through our super thick mattress and we haven't ever had a false alarm. But if we take him off the alarm goes off 20 sec later. Very cheap for peace of mind.

Comments about Angelcare Movement Baby Monitor - AC300:
This is a wonderful product to help with piece of mind for your sleeping baby. After many sleepless nights of trying to get our baby to sleep on his back he now gets to sleeps peacefully on his stomach thanks to this monitor. The only con is that you can't co-sleep in the bed with this because it will also pick up your movement so its not an accurate detection of the baby's movement. We us it in his co-sleeper bassinet next to our bed and it works great. Blinking green light which indicates movement is an added bonus because you can tell your baby is breathing without disturbing them. Very easy to set up and use.

Comments about Angelcare Movement Baby Monitor - AC300:
We love our angelcare monitor! We have had a few false alarms when our baby moved horizontal and flush with the top of the crib, but we would rather have a false alarm than no alarm in an actual emergency! I set up the monitor myself and it was so simple. I can honestly say that the angelcare monitor gives me the freedom to sleep peacefully at night.

Comments about Angelcare Movement Baby Monitor - AC300:
24 hours since installation, and so far, so good. I love the idea behind this monitor. I bought it because my 8-week-old son absolutely will NOT sleep on his back, despite my persistent efforts. To ease my SIDS paranoia, I thought this monitor would help me sleep a bit better. I have it installed under the cradle/bassinet mattress in our room. Because the cradle is not as steady as a full-sized crib (it has a rocking feature, but I have it on lock so it won't rock), the monitor was sensing what it thought was baby movement even without a baby in the cradle. So, I had to adjust the sensitivity to make it less sensitive. It made me a bit nervous to mess with this setting, but I tested it multiple times after the adjustment, and it seems to be working great. Last night was our first night with it, and we did have one false alarm (he somehow inched his way to one end of the cradle and off the sensor pad). Other than that, so far, it seems to be working great!
