Product directions are a bit vague, this product goes inside the tank and requires an air pump to work. Dispite that, it really is a great product.

Something that confused me that I didnt know until I bought it was that the Nursery does not come with an air pump, but you can get a decent one for uner $10. Overall the product is well made and works well.

Finally, a breading tank a little bigger. I like the concept but it is a good thing female Guppy was not hungry. The air vaccum only pulled half the fry into the small side. Maybe I should have used higher air pressure.
A few fry got out into the big aquarium some how. All in all I like it. I give it a 90% rating. I will keep on using it.

Love this breeder tank. I keep Mollies and Platys. Platy fry are very small and can slip through the slats on other breeder tanks, becoming a snack for the other larger fish. This tank uses circulating water powered by air to gently pull the fry away from the birthing tank over to the nursery tank. After the birthing is finished you can move the nursery tank easily to another aquarium. The nursery tank easily disconnects from the birthing tank. Very clever design.
