I have a dining room with 12 foot ceilings and a large vase about 4 feet tall and wanted a vertical palm tree to insert in the vase (I filled the vase with packing material so that the palm black pot sat inside the larger vase and was hidden). The palm was great for one of the corners in the room and was high enough to make a dramatic statement. You will need to play with the palm leaves to shape it the way you like. The packaging was very good and setting up was easy.
