The air-lift mechanism allows you to adjust your machine for free-arm, flatbed, and storage positions. It has eight storage trays to keep your accessories and supplies organized and handy. A leaf slides at the back of the cabinet to expand your working area and support quilts from falling on the floor as you sew them through the machine.

Description
Spacious, sturdy, and efficiently designed, the Arrow 700 Bertha Sewing Cabinet - Oak can handle large sewing and embroidery machines. The airlift mechanism can hold a 45-pound machine and move it up and down effortlessly into three positions: free-arm, flatbed, and storage. The included quilt leaf increases your workspace behind the unit and prevents fragile quilts from falling on the floor as you pass them through the machine. This supportive leaf slides along a metal rod behind the cabinet for custom positioning to the left of your machine. The two doors on the Bertha cabinet have a total of eight storage trays for thread, pins, scraps, and other sewing accessories. A wide cut-out in the front allows for machine knee lifters to be used comfortably.
Built from durable wood composite with a laminate veneer, this cabinet is strong enough to last a lifetime. The beautiful oak finish and stylish cabinet doors allow this piece to double as a side table in your living room or a dresser top in your bedroom.
This cabinet will accommodate sewing machines no larger than:
- 11 3/4 inches front to back
- 22 9/16 inches wide
- 13 1/8 inches tall

I have wanted a cabinet like this since I retired in 2003. I always had my sewing machine on a desk and it was really too high for sewing and it made my shoulders hurt. This cabinet is exactly what I wanted and the price was reasonable. I would recommend to anyone! I can not believe I waited so long to get this!

I will be using it as sewing/embroidery table. The back extension doesn't attach to well, flimsy & isn't a tight fit. That was the main reason I ordered the Bertha. Not to happy with that. The rest should be okay, just a simple straight table. Okay for the price. Will probably upgrade to a nicer one later. Had to purchase a side suzy so that I would have drawer space. Also, airlift hard to get adjusted. Still waiting on custom insert to see how well it works.

I have own a Bertha 1630 for years, and this is the best cabinet i have find. It fixs like a dreams, and makes sewing so much better when it fixs right in a cabinet. This cabinet is perfect for anyone that has a Bertha.

I like the fact that you can fold everything up and push the cabinet back out of the way, but when you are ready to work out it comes. I find there is plenty of room to work on, I just think that the back and sides should have a little more support

I love the fact that this unit allows me to keep my sewing necessities neat and together.
But - the instructions for constructions are incomplete. The pictures for the lift mechanism are blurry and very dark - pretty much worthless. We ended up with one error because the holes for the lift mechanism weren't lined up. We just drilled new ones. But there were a lot of swear words used while putting this unit together.
