Description
Your kids will delight in this fun art and activity station. The Guidecraft Art Activity Desk is made of sturdy hardwood and is painted in bright, child-safe colors. Here they can draw, paint, color or use markers to design and create their own modern masterpieces. They can do school work, build model cars or planes and then use the handy, sturdy shelves to store and display their art. Front 'easel" folds flat to reveal more storage areas and a spacious desktop. Other features include a safe paper cutter, metal easel face for magnet use, write-on/wipe-off easel face, storage in stool, adjustable side shelves, and a chalkboard. Paper roll included.

It took some time to put together but it was worth it! Soo sturdy, looks great, worth the price and my 4 year old LOVES it! It is so versatile and fun to use. I love the rounded corners too.

Unlike some other reviewers, I found this easy to assemble in a couple of hours. The pieces are beautifully finished with good tolerances. Our 2 year old daughter loves drawing on the chalk board and paper roll. She especially loves having her own right sized desk. Her mother likes having a place to store some of the art supplies. I expect it will be useful until she is at least 6.

Gorgeous drawing/art center. Painting is a little more complicated, since the space for a paint tray is small. Construction is ridiculous. Directions say "Adult Assembly Required." They should say, "Professional Carpenter Assembly Required." I have some experience refurbishing a house, bits of carpentry, etc. It took me three hours! Directions are sparse, and there are bolts that the average person has never seen and would have a hard time using. That said, it holds together extremely well. Just plan for lots of time, or if you don't have much experience, plan to hire someone to put it together.
