The Authentic Models Boeing 314 'Dixie Clipper' Airplane is a realistic miniature reproduction of the first luxury plane flown by Pan Am. This large plane with 152 ft. wingspan had room for 74 passengers who could enjoy sleeping berths and a real salon. This level of elegance has yet to be seen again in modern aircraft. This replica recapitulates the metal construction by using silver fabric stretched over a lightweight wooden frame. Incredible details create an extremely authentic experience. Transparent portholes, detailed engines, and nostalgic PanAm colors finish the effect and will make you long for the days when flying was still fun. Some minor assembly is required.
