Description

The wide body and subtle design of the Avanti 6 Drawer Dresser – Black is so unassuming that you may forget that it's where you stored all of your socks. The modern feel of this dresser comes from the angular lines and handle-less design that lets you open each drawer by grasping the beveled edge at the top of each drawer face. The body of the chest is crafted from sturdy composite wood with a durable laminate exterior of deep black. The sides of each drawer are composed of solid hardwood with a light, lacquered finish. Each drawer incorporates smooth metal glides and safety-stops. A tipping restraint is also included to help keep the dresser upright at all times.

Most of Prepac's RTA products are made from a combination of "engineered woods." Engineered Wood is a mixture of high quality hard and soft wood materials, which generally come from the surplus of original lumber processing. These materials are bonded together with a synthetic resin, in a process under high heat and pressure to make a very stable, environmentally friendly product. The result is dense, strong panels, which are then laminated with durable, attractive finishes.

Care

We recommend that you simply wipe your units with a clean, damp cloth, and then dry immediately with another clean cloth to maximize the life span and appearance of your product. This product has a laminate finish, and should not be painted or varnished. If liquid is spilled and quickly wiped up, no damage will be done to your unit. However, continuous exposure to liquids or high humidity may cause damage to the board.
