This is such a beautiful bird bath. The picture does not do the finish on this bath justice. It is simply gorgeous! A really deep dark blue with slight variations in the glaze, really glossy--stunning. The piece is heavy, solid, and looks substantial. The height is perfect too, so many baths are just too small to really make a statement in your garden...not this one. The simple design is really elegant, and the birds at my home just love it, my Robins are bathing in it all the time, so the depth of the bowl itself is also just perfect. Also it is really easy to clean, the high gloss finish allows you to just wipe it out with ease, no scrubbing needed, and after a quick wipe it looks new again. Just really a nice piece, BUT...YOU NEED TO BE AWARE the the top of the bird bath when you put it together simply plugs into the base, however, what you do not know and they don't tell you is that the actual bowl itself is held to the top of the piece that is inserted into the base with some very poor glue and a couple pieces of little 1/2 inch double sided adhesive tape or mine was. So when I was wiping mine out one day the bowl just came right off in my hands. I was surprised, cause that wasn't the way the bath was put together meaning the other half of the top was still inside the base. So it seemed heavy enough to just place in back on the base and with the additional weight of the water it was fine until I could get some epoxy or something to reattach it. Unfortunately, that evening (most likely a squirrel) jumped up to get a drink as they often did and tipped the bowl off the base, it landed on the cement pad the bird bath stands on and broke into several pieces! I have only had it for less than 6 months, and now I have just a beautiful midnight blue base sitting out in my garden. So make sure your bowl is firmly fixed so this doesn't happen to you, otherwise, this is a really beautiful bird bath and I highly recommend if for this price point!

I wanted the product as shown, in blue. Received a green one. Since we liked the construction (2 parts) we kept it. We tried to order a second one in the blue and were told they were backordered until mid August.
