It lasted about seven months. It does not hold up to rain. My dogs barely used it. They would press up against the side of the house rather than use the dog house because the dog house leaked. Definately not for the Mississippi gulf coast.

Assembly should have been easy but was not. Certain pieces did not have the holes so we had to drill them in. The screws that were sent for the roof were not long enough. The bottom of the house had a gap between the wood so we had to fix that too. In the end the house looked good.

Some of the wood pieces were broken, chipped, or scratched/gouged. You have to have at least two people to put it together. Some of the pieces cracked when screwed/bolted together. Lots of glue is required to repair it. Next time I go plastic unless I cut the pieces myself. What comes with it are to thin. I wait to see how it holds up to a heavy rain.
