Use it a a night light wired to photo cell on our deck. We replaced a similar lamp post light that had rusted away and this is a very similar design but of lighter weight/construction, but also much less expensive. Will be interested to see how ths holds up in sea air, but happy with the value it has. Took about one hour to assemble but not difficult.
