A single drawer with a round wooden knob provides storage, while a lower shelf is ideal for holding books or displaying small treasures. The square tabletop has slightly curved edges and a large surface for lamps or vases. This table stands 22 inches high and is designed to stand next to a sofa or chair, but it would also work well as a bedroom nightstand.

Made in Thailand, this table is a high-quality one. Easy assembly as long as you can figure out the drawings. For international sales, they provide just drawings, nothing written. Understandable, given the thousands of languages out there, but some Americans aren't used to this quite yet. Once I slowed down and followed the pretty pictures, it went together easily. No missing parts like screws, etc. I did choose to put a coat of polyurethane on everything before assembly--the table will be at our beach house which we rent out, and it's certain that guests will put wet glasses on the tabletop. The poly will prevent rings, etc. and damage to the top. Poly went on very easily--the wood was well sanded when I got it, so a lick and a promise with 200 grit sandpaper worked nicely.
