The durable 1.25-inch thick Formica laminate top resists burns, scratches and stains, and is water and oil resistant. The gray powder-coat paint finish is corrosion resistant for years of life. This workbench is made of heavy duty steel and has a weight capacity of 1600 lbs. Work surface adjusts from 30 to 36 inches. Assembly is required.

This thing shipped from CA for $50 and got here (Pittsburgh)in three days! That is really fast for freight shipping, tipping my hat to Pilot Freight Services also. I am using this table to assemble super high-end, boutique computers. The frame is a beautiful satin grey powder coat finish and the metal work is obviously hand welded from a jig, and all the welds looked great. The top is white formica and aside from a greasy smudge on one corner from someones hand, it arrived in perfect shape. All the pre-tapped holes in the underside aligned perfectly and I had it assembled, by myself, in about 25 minutes. I would have rather had a table made in the USA by union tradesmen, but those items were WAY out of my price range. This is comparable quality and a great value for something made in Mexico and I must say, I'M IMPRESSED!

Price (and shipping cost) is best anywhere on the web for heavy weight industrial benches that are adjustable. Solid and sturdy, these assemble fairly simply and are heavy to move, which is good for our light manufacturing environment. We bought 2 then bought 2 more and have recommended to our neighbors who are now buying at least 2 more.

Workbench is very sturdy, was not hard to put together at all, and ended up being the right height for me, and I am 6'4". after I put casters on it. Surface reflects light, so it is good in dimmer lighted areas.

Very strong and easy for one person to assemble. The holes in the predrilled top where not large enough for the screws supplied. I would advise redrilling them to a slightly larger size. This is an excellent value. I paid [$] more for one online a few years ago and it was not worth [$] more.
