Hole in the outhouse is not cut to a common shape so I was happy to find this replacement. Considered an open shape horseshoe design instead so that when it wears out I can also use it for toilet seat "horseshoes", which is very popular in the back country. But settled on the less commercial look of the closed front since the outhouse is private and not open to the public. Considered another model with a cover but didn't want to have to lift the cover when I'm in a hurry. I may get another seat for the other hole in case the first hole is occupied.
