This desk is good quality & great value for the price. It is also nice looking, good for professional home office look. Well designed, easy to do computer work and roomy area to handwrite on documents also. Took quite a while to assemble and heavy, but worth it.

We searched a long time for a corner desk that would fit in a smaller home office without overpowering it, and this is it! The design is beautiful, and there is a lot of storage. It takes two people and several hours to assemble, but worth it. Great buy!

I was very impressed for a "put together yourself" type of desk. Sturdy, well designed, and looks great in my office. I am impressed with both the desk and hayneedle that I'm looking to purchase the matching bookcase and lateral file cabinet!

Just finished putting together this desk the other day, and I have to say, it's one of the most sturdy desks I've come across.
I've been using the same flimsy, junk desk for years and years. But, we've recently bought a new house, so it's time to get rid of the old and bring in the new. After an extensive amount of time browsing around on this site, I finally settled on this Bestar desk, and I'm very happy that I did. The desk came in two separate boxes that weighed approx 240 lbs combined, it was actually quite surprising that there was a whole desk sitting inside of them.
Setup was pretty straightforward and simple...just make sure you have a power drill or else it will be a major pain trying to put it together, not to mention a second person to help flip things over/fit certain pieces together. I needed help from someone else for about 3 of the total steps.
After setup was done, the desk looked exactly like it does in the picture on this website. Great color scheme, plenty of storage space with the 8 compartments + the drawers. The sliding keyboard/mouse tray is actually very solid. The only thing that kind of annoys me is the drawers; for some reason it takes more force than it should to pull them out, but other than that, they work just fine.
In the end, this desk was a very great buy and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a not-too-expensive and solid desk.
